    RINCIPLE PRINCIPLE

    The wet material is continuously added to the first drying plate on the upper part of the dryer from the feeder, and the rake arm with rake leaves makes a rotary motion, so that the rake leaves continuously turn over the material. The material flows through the surface of the drying disk along the index helix, and the material on the small drying disk is transferred to the outer edge, and falls to the outer edge of the large drying disk below the outer edge. The material section moves inward on the large drying disk and falls into the next layer of small drying disk from the middle dropping mouth. The large and small drying plates are arranged alternately, and the materials can continuously flow through the whole dryer. The hollow drying plate is filled with heating medium in the form of saturated steam, hot water and heat conducting oil. The heating medium enters from one end of the drying plate and exits from the other end. The dried materials fall to the bottom layer of the shell from the drying plate of the last layer, and then are transferred by the rake leaves to the discharge port for discharge. The moisture escapes from the material and is discharged from the moisture discharge port on the top cover. The moisture of the vacuum type disc dryer is extracted from the vacuum pump port on the top cover. The dry materials discharged from the bottom layer can be packed directly. By adding fin heater, solvent recovery condenser, bag type dust remover, dry material back mixing mechanism, induced draft fan and other auxiliary machines, the drying production capacity can be improved. The paste and heat sensitive materials can be dried, the solvent can be recovered conveniently, and the pyrolysis and reaction operation can be carried out.

    Technical characteristics:

    (I) drying plate

    1. Design pressure: generally 0.4MPa, up to 1.6Mpa.

    2. High service pressure: generally ≤ 0.4MPa, with the height up to 1.6Mpa.

    3. Heating medium: steam, steam water, heat transfer oil and drying plate shall be heated with hot water when the temperature is 100oC, saturated water steam or superheated steam ≤ 0.4MPa when the temperature is 100oC ~ 150oC, heat transfer oil when the temperature is 150oC ~ 320oc, and electric, heat transfer oil and molten salt can be used when the temperature is > 320oc.

    (II) material transfer system

    1. Spindle speed: 1-10 rpm, electromagnetic or variable frequency stepless speed regulation.

    2. Rake arm: there are 2-8 rake arms fixed on the main shaft on each drying plate

    3. Rake blade: it is hinged on the rake arm and can keep in contact with the floating up and down of the disk surface in various forms.

    4. Rolling: for materials that are easy to agglomerate and need to be broken, rolling is added at a proper position to enhance heat transfer and drying process.

    (three) shell

    There are three types: atmospheric pressure, airtight and vacuum

    1. Atmospheric pressure type: cylinder or octagon, with integral and split structure. The main pipes at the inlet and outlet of heating medium are available inside and outside the shell.

    2. Closed type: cylindrical shell, capable of bearing 5kpa internal pressure. The main pipe at the inlet and outlet of heating medium can be inside the shell or outside the shell.

    3. Vacuum type: cylindrical shell, the design pressure is 0.1MPa, and the main pipe at the inlet and outlet of heating medium is in the shell.

    1. Atmospheric pressure type: due to the low air flow speed in the equipment and the high and low humidity distribution in the equipment, it is difficult for dust to float to the top of the equipment, so there is almost no dust in the tail gas discharged from the top vent.

    2. Closed type: equipped with solvent recovery device, which can easily recover the organic solvent in the wet gas. The solvent recovery device is simple and has a high recovery rate. For inflammable, explosive, toxic and oxidizable materials, nitrogen can be used as the carrier gas for closed-circuit circulation to ensure safe operation. It is especially suitable for drying inflammable, explosive and toxic materials.

    3. Vacuum type: disc dryer operated in vacuum and barking state, especially suitable for drying of heat sensitive materials.
